Biography
陈秉衡，女， 1936年4月15日生于上海。复旦大学公共卫生学院教授,博士生导师。公共卫生学院顾问。中华预防医学杂志副主编。曾任中华预防医学会副会长，中华预防医学会上海卫生学会主任委员、卫生部医学科技专家咨询委员会委员、上海医科大学副校长等多项重要社会技术职务，曾获得国家教委科技进步二等奖，卫生部科技进步二等奖，上海市科技进步二等奖。 并曾多次获得上海和全国“三八红旗手”称号。在环境毒理及大气污染与健康研究等方面取得多项成果。 1988年起 一直担任世界卫生组织总部国际化学品安全规划司任高级业务官员，负责领导国际专家从事环境化学品毒理和流行病的危险度评价，负责出版了WHO环境卫生基准系列专辑18册，曾主持了WHO接触化学品对健康影响的多次重要项目工作。并曾代表WHO 对亚非拉11个发展中国家的高层次管理和业务人员进行化学品安全使用等培训。深得WHO领导的好评。在国内外享有较高的知名度。现负责国际铜业学会及美国TERA毒理学及危险毒评价研究中心、美国WRI等委托的等多项国际科研课题。
